I have over 29 years experience as a Civil Engineering Design Technician and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (TEngICE), my expertise is infrastructure and urban drainage, I am also skilled and have a sound knowledge in the preparation of structural detailing, layouts, including R.C. detailing, and highway layouts.
I have worked for some of the principal civil engineering consultancy firms in the Cardiff area since leaving school, my training commenced with Grove and Wright, I have also been involved as a member design team on major civil engineering projects with Hubert Jenkins & Ptns, L G Mouchels, Atkins 11years, and the last 12 years with White, Young Green up to 2009 when the business consolidated and rationalised its engineering operations to their Bristol office.
I formed Cardiff Design Draughting Services Ltd in 2009 and although the construction industry remains a difficult market I have sustained a continuous work flow from Cardiff based consultancies. My current client base is Hubert Jenkins & Prtns, Bingham Hall Prtns, Curtins, Jubb Consulting Engineers, Vale Consultancy, and RVW Consulting. Also, forming part of the service offered is the provision draughting services to local building and civil engineering contractors.
